Last information bulletin update 2 October 2007        
Dear Friends of the Vespa 400,

You remember that on the 21 December 2006, we started this information bulletin for the 50 years of the Vespa 400 on the electronic greeting cards sent to the 300 members of the CapAction network.
For those who do not have the Internet we made an edition on a post card and a copy on magnetic backing.

This information bulletin let you know as it happened the progress of the plans for outings of our Vespa 400s to celebrate the 50 years this summer 2007.
We supplied tourist information to encourage our friends from abroad to come and spend their holidays in France.

On the 20 February 2007 when I met Jean-René Leroy, Mayor of Fourchambault, and Roland Meyer, president of the Vespa Club we had already 800 visits to this Information Bulletin, and very many exchanges of mail with our friends outside France: e.g. Germany, Belgium, Great Britain, Switzerland, USA.

Numerous sites have passed on information by links on our page or have published partial copies with our agreement.

Today 2 October 2007 this information bulletin has received more than 3800 visits.

I am sending you this latest edition to thank all our partners who have contributed generously and in good spirit to the organisation and to the success of the 50 years of the Vespa 400.

On the material side the municipalities of Fourchambault, Chevreuse, Chavenay, Rennemoulin, Pecqueuse to mention only those with whom I have been personally in contact. There are certainly others.

On the financial side the sponsors, international, national and regional enterprises, who have financed the production of the high quality anniversary rally plates, and a large part of our communication costs. Equally on the financial side the collectors who have bought and are still buying the key holders and the post cards. These allow us to cover the costs of the copper and chromium plating of the Ardor baggage rack offered for the photo competition.

On the organisation side all the members of the Fourchambault Vespa Club and CapAction who have freely given their time and often more, to ensure that the the outings of our Vespa 400s were a success this summer 2007.
